private lessons of percussion; playing in amateur dixieland bands in Košice; later dancer in the Lúčnica traditional folk music ensemble

professional musician – drummer

during his military service took part with a band in a national level of Army Creative Contest (Prague), met musicians from Prague (Hanuš Berka, Karel Svoboda etc.); cooperation with Laco Deczi
1962
engagement in Otakar Rendl’s Prague Dance Orchestra

member of the SHQ of Karel Velebný and Jan Konopásek
1966
member of the Reduta Quartet
1966 – 1968
member of Peter Herbolzheimer sextet in Nuernberg (Germany), extensively recording for Bavarian Radio

member of Mal Waldron’s trio (and quartet) in the Domicile club in Munich
