As a soloist, he has performed with the Slovak Philharmonic, the Solistes Européens Luxemburg, and the Bratislava Chamber Soloists, under a number of conductors (Bystrík Režucha, Christoph Campastrini, and Jack Martin Händler, amongst others). He regularly performs chamber music (for example, as a member of the Con media dell'Arte wind quintet).

Reviewers of Janošík have agreed that he is a talented and progressive musician, who continues to represent the zenith of performance art.

He taught the flute at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava from 1994 – 2004.
