The focus of her research is the analytical, aesthetic and interpretative aspects of music of composers of 16th – 21st Century, the theory of musical interpretation, musical rhetoric and reflection of basic music-theory and music-aesthetic principles. She is an author of several monographs and entries about 21 Czech and Slovak composers in the prestigious publication Reclams Komponistenlexikon (Stuttgart 2009) and many expert studies published in Slovak, German, Swiss, Austrian, Czech and Norwegian specialized press. As a lecturer she presented also at music colleges and Universities in Leipzig, Hannover, Bern, Zurich, Katowice, Bergen, Copenhagen, Eisenstadt, Prague, Brno, Ostrava, Nitra and Banská Bystrica. She is also an author of several concepts of concerts with the spoken word, which were presented in Slovakia and abroad.
