During his studies at Košice Conservatory, Marek Štrbák performed at several organ events and festivals in Slovakia. During his Viennese studies he was an organist in Sacré Coeur and Schönbrunn Castle Chapel. In 2001, 2002 and 2005 he performed in the festival Kremnica Castle Organ.
He has attended master classes under renowned European pedagogues and performers, such as Jon Laukvik, Lorenzo Ghielmi, Edgar Krapp, Thierry Escaich, Bernard Focroulle, Jean Wolfs, Hans-Ola Ericsson and others. He has won several awards at international and national competitions.
He is a popular solo and chamber musician, and often performs at home and abroad. He regularly performs and premieres compositions of Slovak authors (in December 2011 premiered Christmas Carol by Iris Szeghy, in September 2012 Laudatórium by Jozef Podprocký). At the present time he is doctoral student and choirmaster of the Academic Choir of Faculty of Education at the Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra and teacher at the music school Tatraškola in Nitra.
