Bio

1979
graduated from the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava in the field of acting; member of the Jonáš Záborský theatre in Prešov
1984
member of the SNP theatre in Martin; wrote songs for plays (including Gerschý's play Motýľom nik nerozkáže)
1991
member of the Slovak National Theatre in Bratislava; collaboration with the a.ha theatre, where, in addition to his acting roles, he also performed regular concerts
1995
an autobiographical profile as part of the Pesničkári slovenskí series, entitled Nápoky
1998
participated in the Bojnice Folk Forum, not only as a songwriter, but also as a compere; made a debut CD entitled Nápoky, as well as a literary debut – a collection of short stories entitled Onomatopoje
2000
performed a series of concerts together with the songwriter Peter Janků, which culminated in a joint recital, captured on a CD by Marián Geišberg featuring Peter Janků, called Live v Divadle a.ha
2002
recorded an album called Neladí? Nevadí!
2005
a book of short stories entitled Prejsť prahom a zavrieť dvere
currently works with his son Martin, who accompanies him on guitar
