The chamber orchestra Sinfonietta Bratislava is a young ensemble, which was founded in 2008 from the initiative of Slovak musicians of young generations, mostly students of universities. At present, its members are leading young Slovak concert artists, graduates of artistic academies in Slovakia and abroad, which concurrently also perform in other chamber ensembles such as Prague Chamber Philharmonic, Slovak Chamber Orchestra of Bohdan Warchal, Quasars Ensemble, Musica Minore, or as principals in symphony orchestras (Slovak Philharmonic). The concert master and artistic leader of the orchestra at the same time is Pavel Bogacz, Jr., under whose leadership the ensemble regularly presents itself with an outstanding performing level and interesting dramaturgy of their concerts.

The ensemble has cooperated with a number of artists and conductors, repeatedly recorded for Slovak Radio and Television, and has performed in programs for commercial media in Slovakia. A separate chapter of the artistic activity of the orchestra is the regular presentation of Slovak works not only at home but also abroad (authors like Dušan Martinček, Igor Bázlik, Víťazoslav Kubička, Juraj Hatrík, Paul Walker, Alexander Albrecht, Ján Levoslav Bella, Dezider Kardoš, Vladimír Godár, Štefan Németh-Šamorínsky and others).

Chamber orchestra Sinfonietta Bratislava is the main organizer of master courses of world virtuosos in Bratislava, held since 2013, where the prior guests included Julian Rachlin (2013), Ilya Gringolts (2014), Alexandra Soumm (2015), Renaud Capuçon (2016), Midori Goto and Alexandra Soumm (2017).
