The string ensemble Archi di Slovakia, composed of members of the Slovak Sinfonietta Žilina, was established in 1997 from the initiative of the concert master of Slovak Sinfonietta Žilina František Figura. It consists of string players who are also active as concert players outside the Slovak Sinfonietta Žilina. Most of them perform as soloists with Slovak Sinfonietta or in small ensembles.

Archi di Slovakia has performed in numerous concerts in Slovakia and abroad (Czech Republic, Spain...). It regularly performs within the cycle Sunday Matinee for children and parents in Dom Umenia Fatra (House of Arts) in Žilina. It has recorded for Slovak Radio in Banská Bystrica. After the death of Bohdan Warchal it took over as the festival orchestra of the international children's festival “Čírenie Talentov” (from 2004 “Talents for Europe”).

The ensemble has artistically cooperated with many domestic and foreign performers.
