Workshop with London Sinfonietta
Small Concert Studio of the Slovak Radio
Members of the London Sinfonietta are experienced performers of contemporary music. As part of its appearance on this year’s festival, the ensemble will give a workshop aimed at composers and performers, who will have the opportunity to discuss practical issues of composing for various instruments and of performance particularities in contemporary music. The ensemble will perform four works of Slovak composers and one piece from its repertory. The analysis of the pieces will give valuable insight into the performance practice of today.
