{"content":"\n
\n        \n        About work:
I composed Three Reflections for mezzosoprano and piano on the texts of authors from different generations. In spite of that is their common element meditation, characteristic for all three poets, reflectivity, presented by suggestive symbols and deep lyrism. These signs influenced also the choice of tempo, forming of vocal part and especially contact of singer and pianist. Voice and piano are well balanced and supplemented in equivalent partnership. There are not many differences in styles of songs, only the middle song Ploughmen is conciped in quite consequent 12-tones technique, which profiles symbolic, a little irreal content of poetry. Various choice of material in first and last songs (element of polystyle) expresses an effort to adequate interpretation and shaping of poetic basis.

\n (author, in: Bulletin New Slovak Music 1989)
\n
\n
\n            Movements:
\n\n In the Cave of Memory (Milan Rúfus)\n \n
\n\n                Ploughmen (Milan Kraus)\n                \n
\n\n An the End of Distance (Maša Haľamová)\n \n
\n
\n\n

\n
First performance in Slovakia
\n                \n                \n                16.02.1989,\n                New Slovak Music,\n                SK\n\n
Performers: Viktória Stracenská (ms), Miloslav Starosta (pf)\n
\n\n\n
\n
\n"}
