Other instruments (minimum of two) play available pitches according to the rules given in the score. There are various versions of possible executions of this piece: 1. with pauses – in this case, the entry and end of each section should be played with a short cresc. and decresc. from and to niente so no harsh interruptions occur during the performance. 2. without pauses – as in the case of the recording, there was no possibility of playing the segments as described above. The solution is holding the previous section at the same time as the new one.
