{"content":"\n
\n        \n        About work:
I`ve composed the Partita in october 1986 in a creative pause during the composition process of the opera diptych Two Stories of the Sister of Sadness almost in the same time as the Quintet for horn and string quartet. The main creative impulse was there my interest in confrontation of compositions, which were created in the classicism in 18. century with works of the New Music - in this case it is the Partita for viola principalis, four violas and bassoon by Antonín Vranický. I`ve enriched this formation by horns and replaced the solo viola also by horn. The result is a composition in classical form with new musical content and last but not least also reminiscences of the interrupted opera.

\n (author, in: Bulletin New Slovak Music 1994)
\n
\n
\n            Movements:
\n\n                Grave\n                \n
\n\n                Vivace con fuoco\n                \n
\n\n                Lento\n                \n
\n\n                Con moto appasionato\n                \n
\n
\n\n

\n
First performance in Slovakia
\n                \n                \n                23.11.1994,\n                New Slovak Music,\n                SK\n\n
Performers: Ján Budzák (cr), Branislav Hóz (cr), Jozef Illéš (cr), Vladimír Miklovič (cr), Miloš Števove (cr), Ladislav Práger (fg), Alojz Jurica (vl), Tomáš Kaiser (vl), Ľubomír Mierny (vl), Ladislav Maršovský (vl), Martin Mázik (dir.)\n
\n\n\n
\n
\n"}
