This Friday 23 May 2025, the final round of the 26th International Mikuláš Schneider-Trnavský Singing Competition will take place in Trnava. The event is named after the renowned Slovak composer and pedagogue, Mikuláš Schneider-Trnavský, best known for his contributions to vocal music. The competition offers a platform for young classical singers from around the world to showcase their talent before a professional jury and the public.
The competition is divided into two categories based on the participants’ age and level of interpretation. This year, a total of 26 finalists from various countries have advanced to the final round. High artistic standards are expected, as this is one of the most prestigious vocal competitions of its kind in Central Europe.
