CODEnsemble continues its second season sea2on with the concert TRIO, presenting contemporary chamber music in formations for clarinet, violin, cello and piano.
Following the opening SOLO/DUO program, the dramaturgy shifts towards trio formations and an intensified musical dialogue between instruments. The concert brings together four distinct compositional voices - Robert Kolář, Peter Javorka, Marián Lejava and Milan Paľa.
The program explores introspection, physicality of sound, memory and subtle irony - from Kolář's short musical "shadow plays", through Javorka's work with time, to Lejava's personal homage to Roman Berger and Paľa's sound reflection Zrkadlenie.
