The opening concert of the 53rd season of the Slovak Sinfonietta Žilina, conducted by principal guest conductor František Macek, will be entirely dedicated to the works of Ludwig van Beethoven, a leading figure of Viennese Classicism, whose compositions have been an important part of the orchestra's repertoire throughout its 52-year history. The soloist will be the outstanding Israeli pianist Sivan Garburg, whom Žilina audiences have already had the pleasure of hearing in the program "Solo for Two Steinways" on October 9, 2025.
