Concert in cooperation with Piano Days Festival

Some composers leave such a strong mark that their work lingers even in the lives of authors a hundred years younger. The work of Fryderyk Chopin is an important pillar, especially for lovers of piano works. Like Chopin, both Bernhard Lang and Frederic Rzewski were composers and pianists at the same time. Lang's Monadologie is a sort of recomposition of Chopin's Etudes, while Rzewski combines the story of pianist Arthur Rubinstein with Nocturne in C sharp minor.
Daan Vandewalle is a prominent personality of the Belgian piano school. Contemporary music holds a prominent place in his repertoire; his otherworldly interpretation amazes audiences all over the world.
