{"content":"\n    <div class=\"detail-content\">\n        \n        <strong>About work:</strong> <p>The sequel to <em>Ontogenesis</em> is the string quintet <em>Aberrationes</em>.  The title of the piece reflects Bachratá´s two professions; in genetics this term points to certain type of change in the chromosome structure. <em>Aberrationes</em> is an extremely demanding piece conceived as contrapunctal variations on <em>Ontogenesis</em>; the extended instrument techniques are transferred on the string instrument. The process of change inspired by genetics is enriched by unusual sound combinations, quartertones and glissandi in contrary motion. The focus, however, is on the expression, the attentive listener will not miss melodic shapes inspired by folk music.
