The impulse to compose that work was the Queen Elisabeth Composer Competition in Belgium, which should be performed by the finalists of the violin competition. The determined time limit was 15 minutes. I used the cryptogramm ELISABETH, created from them series of tones, which represent the whole thematic material. The composition is monothematic and has only one part. I wanted to utilize technically and acoustically the soloist part, the contrast si made by the changes of tempo. The orchestra is quite untraditional - double wooden instruments, from the brass instruments just two two horns and one trumpet and a big percussion aparate. As string instruments there are just violoncellos and contrabasses. I wanted to expose the violin sound as good as possible, without similar timbre.

\n        (author)
\n
\n        \n\n
\n
First performance in Slovakia
\n                \n                \n                20.11.1994,\n                New Slovak Music,\n                Slovak Radio, Studio 2,\n                Bratislava,\n                SK\n\n
Performers: Jindřich Pazdera (vn), Slovak Sinfonietta Žilina, Otakar Trhlík (dir.)\n
\n\n\n
\n
\n"}
