He is frequently inspired by poetry, be it a line of text or an idea and is equally attracted to instrumental or vocal ensembles or combinations of both. His Works often carry a Christian message pointing to a connection with the Gregorian chant and the ideas of Christian spiritual heritage.
The composition ...and to Dost You Shall Return for solo cello (1991) is a dramatic meditation, inspired by a verse from book of Genesis. Its tightly drawn dramatic arc is created out of multiple transformations of a single motif.

\n (Vladimír Godár, in: booklet of the CD \"Slovak Cello Music\", Diskant DK-0069-2131, p. 4.)
\n
\n        \n\n
\n
First performance in Slovakia
\n                \n                \n                14.05.1992,\n                SK\n\n
Performers: Juraj Kováč (vc)\n
\n\n\n
\n
\n"}
