{"content":"\n
\n \n About work:
Trio for Clarinets (1992) is the latest of Sixta´s significant chamber opuses for winds. It originated as a transcription of the Trio for Two Oboes and English Horn from 1980. The line of Sixta´s chamber wind pieces is marked by early Quintet for Flute, Oboe, Clarinet, Bassoon and Piano (1961), aleatorical Variations for 13 Instruments (1967), Quartet for Flutes (1971), Octet for Pairs of Flutes, Oboes, Clarinets and Bassoon (1975). The first movement of the Trio (Allegretto) is built as a canon, the second movement (Moderato) unites scherzo mood with variations, the third movement (Animato) combines metrical music with aleatorically loosed textures.

\n (Vladimír Godár, in: booklet of the CD \"Jozef Sixta – Chamber Music\", Hudobný fond SF 00372131, p. 7–8.)
\n
\n
\n Movements:
\n\n Allegretto\n \n
\n\n Moderato\n \n
\n\n Animato\n \n
\n
\n\n

\n
First performance in Slovakia
\n \n \n 28.11.1992,\n New Slovak Music,\n Slovak Radio, Studio 2,\n Bratislava,\n SK\n\n
Performers: Jozef Luptáčik, sr.
