The Nágel–Patkoló Piano Duo was formed during their studies at the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava in 2011. The duo focuses on the interpretation of works for two pianos as well as four-hand piano repertoire. In 2015, they won first prize at the international competition “21st Century Art” in Vienna. Their rich repertoire also includes several national premieres of works by composers such as Ľuboš Bernáth, Edward MacDowell, Samuel Barber, Arnold Bax, Cécile Chaminade, and Jiří Laburda.
In 2025, they released their debut album nagel–patkolo piano duo – Souvenirs, which brings together the musical worlds of American composer Samuel Berger and Ľuboš Bernáth.
