PhDr. Marta Földešová is a Slovak musicologist, editor, and music publicist. She studied musicology at the Faculty of Arts of Comenius University in Bratislava.
In her journalistic work, she focused on reviews and reflections on festivals (Interpódium, Prehliadka mladých koncertných umelcov v Trenčianskych Tepliciach, Dni gitarovej hudby, Bratislavské kultúrne leto, Medzinárodný gitarový festival Johanna Kaspara Mertza, Bratislavské hudobné slávnosti, Stredoeurópsky festival koncertného umenia v Žiline, and others), concert series (Slovenská filharmónia, Symfonický orchester Slovenského rozhlasu), and solo recitals (opera singing, flute, guitar, cello). She also conducted numerous interviews with concert performers and composers, including pianist Peter Toperczer, the guitar duo Jozef Zsapka and Dagmar Zsapková, and composer Víťazoslav Kubička.
Her editorial work is also significant, particularly in the publishing houses OPUS and Rádio Bratislava. She authored expert liner notes for vinyl and CD releases, including albums featuring Slovak composers such as Chamber Music 1 and Chamber Music 2.
