Peter Vrbinčík was a member of several orchestras and chamber groups such as the Slovak Philharmonic, Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, French National Youth Orchestra, Cappella Istropolitana, Chamber Soloists Bratislava, Young Bratislava Soloists, Veni, Musica Aeterna and Slovak Chamber Orchestra, and has performed under conductors including Emmanuel Krivine, Enoch zu Guttenberg, Ondrej Lenárd, Claudio Abbado, Serge Baudo, Zdeněk Košler and others. As a member of chamber ensembles he has performed at domestic festivals (Bratislava Music Festival, Melos-Ethos, Central European Music Festival Žilina, Presentation of Young Performing Artists in Trenčianske Teplice and others) as well as foreign festivals (Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival, Salzburger Festspiele, Rheingau Musik Festival, Wien Modern and others). In 2000 he premiered Concerto for Viola and Orchestra by Antonio Rosetti in Klaus, Austria.
