Mária Mártonová-Kormanová during her studies attended performing master classes in Slovakia and Switzerland under I. Koval, M. Rantanen, V. Buchholz, T. Anzelotti, J. Dyremosse and V. Bonakov.
She is also interested in solo and chamber music of 20th and 21st centuries, and she is a member of various chamber ensembles. She is a founding member of Ensemble Neue Musik Bratislava, with which she attended several foreign concerts and in 2003 recorded ab album within the Musik für Ravensbrück project. This ensemble currently plays using the instrumentation of piano, flute, and accordion and is called Trio Neue Musik (with pianist Andrea Bálešová and flutist Monika Duarte Štreitová).
She actively cooperates with contemporary composers and premieres their work. She has played at festivals at home and abroad (New Slovak Music, Ostrava New Music Days, Music Without Borders in the Heart of Europe, Orpheus, Musik für Ravensbrück, Evenings of New Music, Festival de Outono – Aveiro, Elektronische Frühling – Vienna).
Artistically she has cooperated on the albums of many contemporary composers: Marián Lejava (2002), Jozef Podprocký (2005), Petra Oliveira Bachratá (2007), Joäo Pedro Oliveira (2007). Some of them have won various international awards.
She recorded for Slovak Radio, Czech Radio and Radio RBB 3 Germany.
She performs in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands, Portugal, Germany, Switzerland and others.
