Zuzka Lonská is a Slovak singer, known primarily for her work in the jazz and alternative music scene. She spent part of her childhood in the USA, where her parents emigrated shortly before the war, which exposed her at an early age to American popular music and jazz traditions. She is distinguished by her unique vocal style, a sense of improvisation, and the interpretation of jazz standards as well as her own compositions. She has collaborated with numerous prominent Slovak musicians and performs in various chamber and larger music projects. Her work spans jazz, soul, and contemporary popular music.
