Marika Gombitová

Marika Gombitová is a Slovak singer and composer who is regarded as one of the prominent figures in Slovak popular music. She gained wider recognition primarily through her work with the band Modus and her successes at the Bratislavská lýra festival. Despite a serious car accident in 1980, she managed to return to the music scene and continue her artistic career. Her songs, often created in collaboration with leading authors, are considered timeless works of Slovak music.
