Adam Marec is devoted to concert activity as a soloist and as a chamber musician – he is a member of various chamber ensembles. He has performed in Slovakia, Czech Republic, Poland, Hungary, Germany, Italy, France, Spain, Great Britain, Russia, and in concert halls including The Royal Festival Hall in London, Palazzo Vecchio in Florence, Sala Mompou in Barcelona and others. In the field of chamber music he currently cooperates mainly with Italian guitarist Fabrizio Ferraro in Duo Marec-Ferraro, and with violinist Andrej Baran in Duo Slavonic and with pianist Eva Cáhová. He has cooperated also with guitarists Eva Soviarová and Peter Tomka, with who he premiered in Slovakia with the cooperation of the Slovak Sinfonietta in Žilina Concert for Two Guitars and Orchestra op. 210 of Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco. With the orchestra of the State Opera in Banská Bystrica he performed Concierto de Aranjuez of Joaquín Rodrigo. Under his belt are also several radio and television recordings.

In addition to his performing activity he also teaches. Since 2009 he is the head of the festival International Performing Days of Classic Guitar at Jan Albrecht Music and Art Academy in Banská Štiavnica.
