Many years of praxis, a wealth of international experience, wide view results in a unique mastery with the top level of all interpretative parameters that he maintains even with advancing years. Vladislav Brunner has always been a keen promoter of Slovak flute literature.

Brunner's Flute Quartet gave rise to original Slovak compositions for this instrumentation. The focus of the repertoire of wind ensemble Bratislava Chamber Harmony, which he was member of, consisted of Classicist music with a strong favoring to authors of Bratislava provenance. Brunner's concert activity abroad includes performances in Austria, Hungary, Germany, Bulgaria and Switzerland.

After resettling in Frankfurt he has performed as a soloist with the following ensembles: RSO Frankfurt am Main, Concerto Grosso Frankfurt am Main, Deutsche Bachsolisten, Münchener Kammerorchester, Bach-Collegium München, Wiener Kammerorchester, Sütdeutsches Kammerorchester, and in Belgium I Musici Fiamingi. His extensive performing activities in the field of chamber music include cooperation with many performers and conductors. Before moving abroad, and again after 1989 he performed as a soloist famous orchestras and ensembles in Slovakia as Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra, Slovak Philharmonic, The Slovak State Philharmonic Košice, Slovak Chamber Orchestra of Bohdan Warchal, Sinfonietta, Bratislava Soloists, Musica Aeterna, Moyzes Quartet, Pressburger Chamber Orchestra, Solistes Européen Luxembourg, and also in the neighboring Czech Republic (Janáček Philharmonic Orchestra Ostrava, Musica Bohemica Prague, Chamber Orchestra Pardubice) and Hungary (Hungarian State Opera Orchestra, Budapest).
