In the field of musicological research she specializes on medieval music culture from Slovakia. The subject of her research work includes processing, analysis, comparison, evaluation and publishing of the oldest sources of musical culture in Slovakia in the form of source editions (Edition of UNESCO, Catholic University), catalogs of fragments (Edition: Catalogus Fragmentorum), specialized scientific studies and by database Slovak Early Music Database / Cantus Planus in Slovacia (http://cantus.sk) and a worldwide database CANTUS Index (http://cantusindex.org).

She is a member of the international working group Cantus Planus of the International Musicological Society, the Scientific Council of the Institute of Musicology at Slovak Academy of Science, and the Scientific Board of the Music Museum of the Slovak National Museum.

She attended various study and business trips and stays in Hungary, Austria, Czech Republic, Poland and Slovenia. She cooperated at several foreign and domestic projects (UNESCO – project Memory of the World – Bratislava Antiphonies I, III, IV, V; project of the Austrian Academy of Sciences FWF-Einzelprojekt P 20576-G13 “Musikalische Quellen des Mittelalters in Wien”, ANL – Österreichische Nationalbibliothek / Musical Sources of the Middle Ages in Vienna, ANL – Austrian National Library); in project APVV CR/SR Slovak-Czech and Czech-Slovak relations in musical culture; Developmental, Genre and Typological Aspects; Project MAD Music Culture in Slovak-Polish Borders; and in multidisciplinary project SF European Dimension of Artistic Culture in Slovakia).

She is an author of five monographs which have processed medieval music manuscript from Bratislava (Mittelalterliche liturgische Kodizes mit Notation in den Archivbeständen von Bratislava I, II, 2002, 2006 / Medieval Liturgical Codices with Notation in the Archives of Bratislava I, II, 2002, 2006), Modra (2008), Banská Štiavnica (2011) and Slovak National Archive (2014). She is co-author of five editions (Spiš Antiphony 2008, Bratislava Antifonies from Edition UNESCO 2004 – 2007) and textbooks (for music education at primary music schools for grades 1st to 4th, 1997 – 2009).
