Peter Kosorín

Peter Kosorín started his artistic activity as first oboist in Slovak Sinfonietta, and at the same time he taught at Conservatory in Žilina. The same position he held later in Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra in Bratislava. In addition to playing in orchestra and teaching at Conservatory Bratislava he occasionally cooperated with other music ensembles such as Harmonia Antiqua, Chamber Opera Vienna, Chamber Opera Bratislava, Musica Aeterna, Slovak Chamber Orchestra of Bohdan Warchal, Cappella Istropolitana and others. He performed in music festivals at home and abroad.

Currently he is a pedagogue of oboe at Conservatory Bratislava and at Music and Dance Faculty of Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. He repairs and manufactures music instruments.
