Klára Havlíková's interpretative artistry is associated with the second half of the 20th century, during which she gave numerous solo recitals and performed with orchestras both at home and abroad (USSR, Switzerland, Finland, Italy, Austria, Japan, USA, etc.). Her extensive concert repertoire focused primarily on 20th-century music, with Slovak piano works always occupying a prominent place. Klára Havlíková made a significant contribution to promoting Slovak music abroad. She particularly focused on the piano works of Eugen Suchoň, becoming a passionate interpreter and connoisseur of his music, and recorded the complete collection of his piano works.
Klára Havlíková regularly recorded for international radio and television broadcasters (Moscow, Budapest, Vienna, Stockholm, Lausanne, Helsinki, Warsaw, Lugano, Havana, etc.) and for domestic and international music labels (Opus, Supraphon, RCA, 20th Century Fox, Preiser Records, Melodiya).
