Bluesweiser focuses stylistically on electric blues and funk. Their repertoire is based on both original compositions and distinctive arrangements of cover songs. The band was founded by guitarist and vocalist Juraj Turtev and harmonica player Erich “Boboš” Procházka. Various line-ups of the group have performed at virtually all major blues festivals, from Bluesfest in Litvínov to Blues Alive in Šumperk.
The band places emphasis on musical playfulness, inventiveness, and humour in their lyrics, which are performed in both Slovak and English.
