The joint career of these three musicians began in 1993 when they decided to participate in a young jazz groups competition. At the competition, they won one of the main prizes. Alongside playing jazz standards, they began to build their own repertoire, marked by a distinct and unique style. Currently, the AMC Trio is almost exclusively focused on performing original music. In their compositions, they often go beyond traditional jazz techniques, placing a strong emphasis on melody and the clear, motif-based development of the pieces. The music of the AMC Trio draws from a variety of influences, with elegant and catchy themes inspired by, among other things, popular music and melodies from Eastern Slovak folklore. Throughout its existence, the trio has collaborated with many guest musicians and performed both domestically and internationally. In 2007, they began collaborating with guitar virtuoso and former member of the Oscar Peterson Quartet, Ulf Wakenius, with whom they recorded two albums: Soul of the Mountain (2008) and Waiting for a Wolf (2011). In 2011, they also started working with legendary trumpeter and four-time Grammy Award winner Randy Brecker. Their joint CD, One Way Road to My Heart, was released in March 2013 and won the Radio_Head Award for Best Jazz CD.
