Slovak Radio Children's Choir in Bratislava (at present Children's and Girls' Choir of the Slovak Radio) was founded in 1953. Its founder was composer and conductor Ondrej Francisci, later Marián Vach (1978 – 1985), and Janka Rychlá (1985 – 2003). From 2004 the leader of the choir has been Adrian Kokoš, and the voice teacher is Zuzana Vaseková.

The choir since its foundation has recorded mostly for the Slovak Radio a large number of songs, cycles for radio broadcasting, several CDs and raised a number of great artists. It has attended various international competitions and festivals.

The choir performs on outstanding cultural events and participates on the performing and recording of premieres of works of contemporary Slovak composers. It regularly cooperates with the Slovak Radio Symphonic Orchestra as well as other orchestras, ensembles, conductors and performers.

From 2011 the Girls' Choir is part of the group, which participates in many musical projects.

Concerts of the Children's and Girls' Choir of the Slovak Radio are regularly broadcast within the concert cycle of the European Broadcasting Union.
