Kostka has conducted significant Slovak ensembles such as the Slovak Philharmonic, State Philharmonic Košice, Chamber Soloists Bratislava, Musica Aeterna, Solamente Naturali, Slovak Philharmonic Choir. He was a main choirmaster of Technik Choir. He cooperates with theatres Nova Scena, Arena, Jonáš Záborský Theatre Prešov, Andrej Bagar Theatre Nitra, P. O. Hviezdoslav Theatre Bratislava. He is a guest also in Janáček Theatre Brno. For some time he was an accompanist and conducting assistant in the Slovak National Theatre. He is a composer and arranger, authoring the music to performances Krvavá svadba (Blood Wedding, within project of Slovak Chamber Ballet, 1997), Edith Piaf (East-Slovak National Theatre Košice, 1998) and others.
