Compositions for Organ

Ján Levoslav Bella composed three large-scale works for the organ — Fantasia-Sonata in D Minor, the fantasia Am Heldenfriedhof and the Chorale Trilogy. Apart from these, three small organ compositions (D major, F major, B flat minor) have been preserved. This CD features all these compositions, and we have added to them the Missa Brevis for bass and organ. Bella’s organ works are performed by Ján Vladimír Michalko, teamed up by Jozef Benci in the mass.
