The Book of Slovak Jazz (in Slovak)

Published in two separate language editions, this volume provides a concise overview of the history of Slovak jazz. It focuses on the pioneers of the genre and other prominent figures, traces the development of jazz in Slovakia during the 1980s and 1990s with an emphasis on stylistic and genre characteristics, and includes a survey of literature on Slovak jazz.

The core of the publication consists of profiles of leading Slovak jazz musicians and ensembles, complemented by photographs, essential biographical and bibliographical information, descriptions of their musical style, lists of works, and discographies. The volume also includes basic information on institutions dedicated to jazz in Slovakia.
