Symphony No. 1 D Major for Orchestra

Wenzel Kallusch (Václav Kaluš) was one of the leading musical figures in Bratislava during the period preceding the establishment of the city's Church Music Society. His compositional legacy is preserved in both Vienna and Bratislava. His four-movement Symphony No. 1, composed in 1828, provides valuable insight into the high standard of musical life in Bratislava during the first third of the nineteenth century.
