Miro Bázlik: Spektrá života

The latest volume in the Sources series, Miro Bázlik – Spectra of Life, presents a comprehensive overview of the life and work of the outstanding Slovak composer and pianist Miro Bázlik, whose oeuvre includes the opera Peter and Lucia, as well as oratorio, chamber, symphonic, electroacoustic, and film music.

Published to mark the composer’s 90th birthday, the monograph features interviews with Bázlik, musicological and theoretical studies of his extensive body of work, and a complete catalogue of the literary texts he set to music. It also includes a chronological and thematic catalogue of his compositions, complemented by a photographic section.
