Ladislav Burlas composed his version of a Slovak folk ballad in August 1970, adapted for a female voice (alto), clarinet, and harp. He revised the composition on the occasion of its recording in the Bratislava studio of Czechoslovak Radio in September 1971. The composition is published in 2023 as a score and clarinet part.
