Violin Duets of Old Masters

Viliam Kořínek was one of the first prominent Slovak violin pedagogues and also the first codifier of violin playing methodology. In addition to his own instructional compositions, he worked as an editor of several sheet music editions of works by foreign composers. The publication Violin Duets of the Old Masters was first released in 1961 and contains pieces for two violins by composers of the 18th and 19th centuries (L. Spohr, W. A. Mozart, B. Campagnoli, J. F. Mazas, F. Hermann, J. V. Kalivoda, L. Jansa, and others). The selection was compiled and revised by Viliam Kořínek.
