The Book of Slovak Blues

The first systematic work dedicated to blues in Slovakia. The authors, prominent personalities of Slovak blues, sought to summarize facts about blues in Slovakia. The book centres on a dictionary of musicians, groups, and festivals; in the introduction, the author surveys the general history of blues and focuses on the beginnings of blues in Slovakia. The book includes a selection of original Slovak song lyrics, bibliography, discography, glossary, and is richly illustrated with pictures.
