Ján Levoslav Bella was closely linked with the organ all his life long from childhood, and his relationship to the instrument was peculiarly close. He produced three concert compositions for organ – Fantasia-Sonata in D Minor, Chorale Trilogy and the fantasia Am Heldenfriedhof. Apart from these, three small organ compositions have been preserved and one composition for harmonium. These are published in print for the first time.
