Peter Hradil significantly contributed to the development of Slovak choral culture. In addition to his choirmaster's activity in several major Slovak choirs. he was a professor of choral conducting at Music Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava. He was a frequent member of juries at international competitions, as well as renowned specialist in the art of performing the Czech and Slovak sacred choral literature of 19th and 20th century.
