Jozef Benci, bass, in addition to the permanent engagement at The Slovak National Theatre he also performed at The State Theater Košice, at Banská Bystrica Music Days, festival Zvolen Castle Plays and International Music Festival in Český Krumlov. His concert activity is also rich as he performs at home and abroad (Czech Republic, Luxembourg, France, Romania, Italy, Austria, Poland, Germany and others).
In 2011 performed at concert performance as Kecal character of Smetana's The Bartered Bride in Barbican Hall in London with BBC Symphony Orchestra under conducting of Jiří Bělohlávek. In the same year he had a vocal recital with Edita Gruberova during The Bratislsava Music Festival. In 2012 he was part of radio recording of The Jacobin opera of A. Dvořák for London BBC (character Filip, the Count's Burgrave).
Jozef Benci is also intensively engaged in concert activity – chamber, oratorio, as well as performing works of contemporary Slovak composers. As a concert artist he has performed at home and on stages throughout Europe, Brazil, China, Japan and the USA.
