He devotes himself to the field of music semiotics, existential semiotics, as well as the semiotics of culture and art.

He was a member of the International Semiotic Society based in Vienna, member of the jury of the international competition of Czech Radio BOHEMIA PRIS 2010 – Section Radio Art, Poděbrady, CZ (2010) and member of the editorial board of the programme Ex-tempore on Radio Devín (2005 – 2009). Since 2005 he has been a member of the editorial board of the magazine about contemporary art and culture Vlna. He lectured in the California Institute of Arts and in the Arnold Schoenberg Institute at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles (USA). He also lectured at the worlds congresses such as: ICMS in Imatra (Finland), Roma (Italy), Krakow (Poland), Louvain (Belgium), 8th World Semiotic Congress in Lyon (France), Institut für Slawistik in Graz (Austria), in GWZO Universität in Leipzig (Germany), Music Academy in Krakow (Poland), Music and Dance Faculty of the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague and Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno. In Slovakia he lectured at the Universities: Faculty of Philosophy of Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra, Faculty of Philosophy of Comenius University in Bratislava and Ján Albrecht Music and Art Academy in Banská Štiavnica.

He performed in many European and American states. He cooperated with groups, such as: The California EAR Unit (USA), Palinckx (NL/UK), Zloději Uší (CZ), Žena s blchou (SK); and personalities, such as: Jon Rose (AUS), Veryan Weston (UK), Franz Hautzinger (A), Zsolt Sörés (H), Ludivine Allegue (F), Vladimír Merta, Jana Lewitová, Jan Kavan, Mikoláš Chadim, David Šubík (all CZ), Marián Varga, Zuzana Homolová, J. B. Kladivo, Braňo Jobus, Peter Katina, Jozef Lupták (all SK) and others. His discography contains more than 20 titles published in Slovak publishing companies (Hevhetia, Vlna, Animartis, Azyl) as well as foreign companies (Kunstradio Wien, Globus International and His Voice Prague).
