Marica Dobiášová is active in the area of solo harpsichord and chamber music. She is a founding member of the Musica aeterna ensemble (1974), with which she still plays today, and is a sought-after chamber player when performing both ancient music and modern compositions. She has worked with many domestic and foreign instrumentalists (Eduard Melkus – violin and viola, Siegfried Pank – viol, and others). She regularly performs at leading Slovak music festivals, as well as festivals and concerts abroad. She has recorded solo, chamber, and orchestra performances for Slovak Radio and foreign stations. She works with Slovak Television and the Music Centre, amongst other institutions, and has also been involved in the field of education.
"Marica Dobiášová’s performances are permeated by her impressive involvement in music, clear-cut stance, meticulous technical training, solid rhythm, at the same time as by appropriate agogic waves and deep knowledge of the period principles of performing."
