As conductor Anton Popovič has collaborated with the following orchestras: SOSR, Bratislava Chamber Soloists, State Philharmonic Košice, State Philharmonic Brno, SLOVAK NATIONAL THEATRE Opera Orchestra, State Opera Banská Bystrica, Capella Istropolitana, Musica aeterna, Symphony Orchestra in Pécs (Hungary), VENI ensemble, Group 180 etc. He has appeared at the Bratislava Music Festival, Days of Old Music in Bratislava, Evenings of New Music, Melos-Étos Festival, etc.
He participated as conductor in the recording of music for the films Všichni moji blízcí (All My Loved Ones, 1998), Návrat idiota (The Return of the Idiot,1999). He is the author of music for the stage productions Meštiaci (Smug Citizens, Divadlo P. O. Hviezdoslava), Višňový sad (Cherry Orchard, Astorka) etc., and also for the dance musical Popolvár (Bearskin, Balet Slovak National Theatre).
