Tomáš Šelc - bass-baritone
Tomáš Šelc collected several awards at the Antonín Dvořák International Singers’ Contest in Karlovy Vary (Czech Republic) in 2007. In 2008, besides the Award of the “OSA” Foundation (for the best interpretation of contemporary works by Czech authors) he achieved first place in category A of the International Singers’ Contest of Spiritual and Concert music, organised by the Conservatory of the Lutheran Academy in Kroměříž. In 2009 he participated in the Imrich Godin International Singers’ Contest, where he won first prize (under-33 category). In 2010 he took part in the G. F. Händel International Singers’ Contest in Eger, Hungary, where he achieved first prize and the “Dohnanyi Orchestra Award”. In 2012 he won the first prize at the International Singers’ Contest “Ad honorem Mozart” in Prague.
