The project Centenary of Eugen Suchoň will be realized in 2008 by the occasion of 100 years from birth of the famous slovak composer, musicologist and pedagogue, Prof. Eugen Suchoň.
Anniversary is included to the List of celebrations of anniversaries with which UNESCO will be associated in 2008-2009.
It`s an intent of slovak cultural institutions to remind through various actions the wide legacy of this personality of slovak music.
Coordinator of the planned activities will be the Music Centre Slovakia, which have also initiated the project conception.
