Ivana Pristašová focuses on chamber and solo performing. She is co-founder and a member of the ensemble Opera Aperta and concert master of Chamber Soloists Bratislava. She has cooperated with ensembles Stradivari Sextett, Jess-Trio-Wien, Albrecht Quartet, VENI ensemble, Cappella Istropolitana, Ensemble 20. Jahrhundert, Klangforum Wien, Ensemble Contrechamp Geneve and with viola player Yossi Gutmann.
As a soloist she has performed with Slovak Philharmonic, Slovak Radio Symphony Orchestra, Slovak Sinfonietta Žilina under conducting of Ondrej Lenárd, Róbert Stankovský, Peter Keuschnig and Alexander Schwinck. She presented herself at several international festivals in Austria, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Slovenia, Poland and Czech Republic.
Ivana Pristašová performs and pays great attention to the study and premieres of contemporary music, regularly cooperates with specialized music ensembles. She performs at festivals of new music Wien Modern, Klangspuren, Steirischer Herbst, in Schleswig-Holstein, Salzburg, Lucerne and at Biennial in Venice.
She also performs within music-theatre productions at several European opera stages. She is also interested in playing jazz and world music.
